Product Categories

Setting up a category will group individual products to make it easier for your customers to navigate through your store. It's the same way like various products are kept in separate shelves in physical stores.

How to Create Categories?

  1. Go to your Hankly Dashboard and Go to Website & Design → Navigation → Categories
  2. Enter category name in the Title field.
  3. Tag field will be automatically filled, you can customize it as per your needs or SEO requirements.
  4. Click "Save Categories".

Website Header

Create a header that helps your visitors clearly to navigate through the website and easily access your store.

How to Edit Website Header?

    Before you start, you can not delete or change the link of the first 3 items in your header menu. They are reserved for your Homepage, Store Page & Ordr Tracking Page. (You can only change their names.)

  1. Go to your Hankly Dashboard and Go to Website & Design → Navigation → Header

Adding a New Item

  1. Click "Add Item"
  2. Select type of the navigation item that you want to use.
    • Page

      • Select the page you wish to add as your menu item from the Page Dropdown.

        If you don't see a page, create a new page by going to Website & Design → Pages → Add New

      • Title & Link fields will be automatically populated. You can customize the title of the page for menu by changing the text in the field.
    • Category

      • Select the category you wish to add as your menu item from the Category Dropdown.

        If you don't see a category, create a new category by going to Website & Design → Categories

      • Title & Link fields will be automatically populated. You can customize the title of the category for menu by changing the text in the field.
    • Custom Link

      • Enter the name of the menu item
      • Copy & Paste or Type the link that you want to open when a user click this menu item.

        Your link must start with an http:// or https://

    • Dropdown

      A dropdown can contain multiple menu items, use this option to group various menu items into one.

      • Enter the name of the Dropdown Item
      • Click Save Changes
      • Click the newly added dropdown, a new sample "Sub Menu Item" is created by default. Change this sub menu item as per your needs.
      • Click Add Item to add new items to this dropdown and follow above steps to add Page, Category or a Custom Links.
  3. Click "Save Changes".
  4. Your menu is automatically saved and published on your website.

Editing an Existing Menu Item

  1. Click the menu item that you added.
  2. Make changes as per your needs, refer "Adding a New Item" section if you need help on editing the menu items.
  3. Click "Save Changes".

Re-ordering Menu Items

  1. Click "Enable Drag & Drop for Re-Ordered" checkbox and make sure it's turned on.
  2. Drag the menu items and re-order as per your requirements.
  3. Changes are automatically saved when you drop the menu item.

Website Footer

A footer is a section of your website at the very bottom of the web page. The footer usually contains a copyright notice, a site map, your business logo, contact information and your social media and your business address. This will help your visitors to navigate within your website and build internal linking, ie-user friendly. Which will in return help you to improve your SEO ( Search Engine Optimization)
